Maud Lewis (1903 - 1970) had no formal training in the visual arts. Like many folk artists, she painted for the joy of adding colour, light and fun to a poverty-stricken rural existence in Digby County, Nova Scotia. Produced via environmentally friendly processes, using chlorine free FSC-certified paper and vegetable-based inks, this beautifully photographed 16-month 12 x 12 wall calendar includes an additional page featuring smaller grids of the months September, October, November and December. This wall calendar is produced in a bilingual (English and French) format.
