The experience was good for the past 5 years. But, much of the time the photography could be better. This year ( 2022 ) the pictures have been really good thus far ..... at least for the months of January and February. I hope the quality keeps up from March onward ????? From a photographic point of view however ( critique ), there should be a much better contrast between the dog and the background. Too often the two merge, and it's hard to tell what's going on, unless you look very closely at the picture. Viewing from a distance --- forget it !!!!! Maybe more portrait like photos, shot in the studio with plain contrasting backgrounds, should be considered? Next year, Calendar Club should try a few of these, like maybe 2 or 3 among the other outdoor portraits.
